History was made last weekend as the Street League descended on Glendale, AZ.
The course had a variety of obstacles that rounded out 4 different zones.
Tommy Sandoval, Billy Marks, and Chris Cole are on the Street League ticket.
Nothing wrong with some friendly rivalry.
Rob Dyrdek's dream was about to be reality.
Billy and Tommy try to settle into the overwhelming atmosphere of this event.
Tommy wallie drops off the side of the unique hubba ledge.
Tommy was skating well in practice. Gap to fs tailslide.
Cole showed up with The Berrics cameras in tow to nab a 'First Try Fridays'.
You think he made it?
Berra's poker face might give you a hint.
Reda doesn't make it down to Chula too often so he jumped at the chance to bust Tommy's balls a little.
The Juice was loose in the building.
TK's dad resides in the great State of Alabama, Birmingham to be exact.
There would be some heavy elimination.
Billy found his gambling partners.
His moustache has never been bigger.
This obstacle was perfect for a kickflip fastplant.
Tommy ripped in practice but the lack of sleep caught up with him. Ontario's not too far of a drive next time.
Here are the top qualifiers.
It was a packed house on Saturday.
Cole and Sheckler probably not talking strategy.
Noseslide from flat.
Cole was the top qualifier so he had a target on his back.
The final crew about to begin the line section of the course.
The tech section was last before the finale big double set / hubba / gap to rail.
It all came down to the big set and the lead swapped numerous times. This gap to grapefruit grind was the highest scored trick of the day along with Nyjah's bigflip fs board.
In the end Nyjah came out ahead with a well-deserved win.
Afterwards they held a legit press conference to reflect on the contest.
Time for the after party! See you in Ontario.
